Our Estate
Established in 1983
As owners of Guneemooroo Estate Sandy and Mark have a strong sense of place nestled in 100 acres of rolling hills in the beautiful Grattai Valley 650 metres above Mudgee. Warm days and cool nights offer near perfect growing and fruiting conditions for our vineyard and our grove of 3500 Italian and Spanish olive trees.
Established in 1983, Guneemooroo (a meeting place for wild ducks) has become our home as its new custodians since 2015.
Our Boutique Wines
Single estate and single vineyard
With our expanding range of single estate and single vineyard boutique wines, we are dedicated to producing high quality, single estate award-winning wines that are true to our Grattai Valley climate. Produced in strictly limited quantities with minimum irrigation and avoiding harmful chemicals, each wine has been hand-crafted for extended cellaring.
We began our new journey with our 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon which won Top Gold at the 2017 Mudgee Wine Show and a silver medal in 2018 as well as a NSW Wine Award. Our 2016 Rosé is made from the same Cabernet grapes as our award winning 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon, while our 2015 Shiraz – another medal winner at the 2017 & 2018 Mudgee Wine Shows – is made entirely from single vineyard Mudgee Shiraz grapes.
Recently our just released 2018 Rosé received a bronze medal at the 2018 Mudgee Wine Show.
We have our 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon and 2018 Shiraz currently maturing in French oak barrels, while our 2018 Chardonnay will be released in early December 2018.
Our home-grown, high quality extra virgin olive oil

Guneemooroo Estate fully certified cold pressed extra virgin olive oil is made from Italian Corregiola and Frantoio olive trees regarded worldwide as producing extra virgin olive oil of the finest quality.

Relax & Unwind
Relax and unwind from the pressures of life and enjoy all the fine food, wine and attractions of the Mudgee region at one of our four distinctive self-catering properties as well as our vigneron’s house in Burgundy, France. Each offers memorable, high standard and well-appointed accommodation for between 4 and 12 guests.
